Your Own Wellbeing Zone

“Within you there is a stillness and sanctuary to which you can retreat at any time and be yourself.” Hermann Hesse

Is it time for a healthy dose of calm at home? Somewhere to inspire stillness and sanctuary? If you're craving a quiet nook to breathe, stretch, or even heal, here are 3 wellbeing trends to consider that will help you create this in your own home.

Here are 3 wellbeing trends you create at home

1.      A meditation - yoga - reading - hiding from the kids - space

A wellbeing space is your personal sanctuary. Simple to create, it can be a whole room, or just a cosy corner with soft textures, natural light, and calming elements. I insist you have a view of nature, oh and some soft cushions! I design these nooks to invite privacy, rest, reflection, or movement. It needs to be an accessible space that can offer a daily reminder to slow down and reconnect with yourself.

2.      Contrast therapy

Contrast therapy—alternating heat and cold—revives both body and mind. Think sauna followed by a cold shower, or just a warm bath followed by that cool shower. It’s energising, stress-reducing, and deeply grounding. Your home can become a space for resilience and balance.

3. Red light therapy

Red light therapy brings gentle healing into your home. An infrared sauna reportedly boosts collagen, reduces inflammation, and supports sleep. More and more clients are opting for infrared saunas at home, that can even be set up in your garage.
